35 weeks 3 days!

Approximately 4 weeks 4 days to go! :) I can't wait for this little guy to get here! I've already gained 33 lbs so far.... :( And I feel every single pound of it lol. I've got chunky feet, ankles, nose, lips, face....pretty much everything on me is swollen and gross looking.

I had my 35 week check up today and doc says everythings looking good. Sawyer's heart beat is good and strong and he dropped down. Sawyer is also head down so hopefully he stays that way! From now on I see the doctor once a week.

Shane and I started a prenatal class on July 2nd (which was also our 2nd wedding anniversary) and our last one is on Monday. We've been learning all about labor signs, pain management, labor positions and breathing. Shane is also learning how to be a good labor coach :)

This coming Sunday we also have a baby shower to look forward to! Can't wait to see everyone and celebrate!

32 weeks 3 days! Officially in the 8th month!

So 32 weeks is the start of the 8th month of pregnancy. 32 weeks 3 days today....so appx 7 weeks 4 days to go! This pregnancy has gone quickly but I cant believe I've got that long left :( Im ready to meet Sawyer and getting slightly miserable.

I am starting to experience some not so fun symptoms of pregnancy which include (but are not limited to) cankles, carpal tunnel and a few other which I wont share lol.

On a brighter note!! Shane and I got to see our baby boy again today :-D It is amazing seeing him wiggle around. We got to see Sawyer moving his hands and kicking his legs. We also got to see his heart hard at work. BUT he was not cooperating with the ultrasound tech and was blocking her view of what she needed to look at. She tried having my lie flat on my back, turn on my side and even trying to push on him to move his head out of the way....but he refused. lol. He was incredibly comfy smashing his head into my bladder. The tech also told us that Sawyer has hair :) Wonder if hes gona have crazy hair like I did when I was born?!?! He was measuring appx. 4lbs 5 oz.

31 Weeks 2 days

31 weeks and 2 days today! :) I had a doctors appointment this morning and she said everything is measuring right on track. I also did not gain quite as much weight this month! Wooo hoo! Much to mine and Sawyer's disappointment, I've been saying NO to ice cream most of the time! I am now to the point where I see the doctor every 2 weeks. Thursday June 28 (about a week away!) we go in for our second ultrasound and are beyond excited to see baby Sawyer once again!

We are quickly approaching our 2nd wedding anniversary on July 2nd! :) I couldn't ask for a better husband/father-to-be. This is also the day that our prenatal class series begins. We are going to be very busy in the weeks to come preparing for our little man's arrival. We are sooooooo excited for Sawyer to get here we can hardly wait.

Oh! and the results for my 3 hr GD test came back fine, so nothing to worry about there. In the past few weeks I've been developing cankles :( and swollen legs. I had some itchies on the bottom of my belly this morning, but seeing how its expanding very quickly I could not see what they were. lol. Good thing I had an OB appt today and she said it looks like some kind of irritation.

29 Weeks 2 Days!

Soo today is June 6th and we are 29 weeks and 2 days pregnant! About 11 weeks to go!

Last week I had the glucose tolerance test and a doctors appointment. At the doc appt I found out that I've already gained 25 lbs :( lol and that my blood sugar was elevated. Sooooo yesterday I went and took the 3 hour glucose tolerance test. We are still waiting to find out the results, fingers crossed! This little boy makes me want sweet stuff all the time, which is probably why my blood sugar was high and why Ive gained so much weight already!

Sawyer is quite the active little guy! He likes to kick, squirm, poke, etc. all day long! I absolutely love it when he moves.... I just sit there and watch. I am still slightly amazed that there is a little person growing inside me. Daddy has seen some of Sawyer's crazy moves too! Shane and I began working on getting the room all ready for his arrival. I am working on getting everything organized and daddy put Sawyer's crib together.

In the next couple weeks we are having another ultrasound and are SOOOOOOOO EXCITED to see Sawyer again! Oh and I think Sawyer had hiccups for the first time today :) With each day that passes we become more and more anxious to meet and snuggle Sawyer! August will be here before we know it and Sawyer will be making his entrance into the world!

24 weeks 2 days

24 weeks and 2 days today (5/2/12). We had a doctors appointment on Monday! Sawyer's heart beat was in the 140's :) Momma however got in a little trouble. I put on about 7lbs in the last month! WOW! What can I say?!? I've been extremely hungry! ;) But I've gotta start practicing some self control. Being pregnant is an amazing feeling, besides constant hunger and multiple late night bathroom trips. hehe

In the end of May I have to go get diabetes testing and a shot in my butt because I have negative blood :( Not looking forward to that so much. In 8 weeks we get to go for another ultrasound to see if my placenta has moved its way up to where it should be. Shane and I are both very excited to see Sawyer again.

Sawyer is quite an active baby these days. He kicks all the time! Sometimes it seems like all day long lol. It is very distracting to me because I always stop what I am doing and watch my belly! I just love seeing and feeling him move!! <3 Im sure it will be a little less exciting when it starts to hurt.

23 weeks 3 days!

Well I started this blog about 11 weeks ago and am just now making it back to posting again.... I can't believe it has really been that long! Since the last post Shane and I found out we are expected a sweet baby boy!!!!! :)

When I heard Sawyer's heart beat for the first time it was absolutely amazing. Each time I hear it beating it blows me away that our child is actually growing inside of me and in less than 17 weeks Sawyer will be here with us! I am so very excited to meet him and begin living our life with Sawyer, but it is also kinda scary/overwhelming!

About 3 weeks ago was our ultrasound and OMG talk about awesome. Seeing our son kicking and bouncing about was the best ever! It was the first time I actually felt like there was an actual child in there!

We have been taking lots of belly pictures to see how big he/I am getting. Over the past 3 weeks I feel like my belly has exploded!! It went from looking full and bloated to actually looking pregnant. This pregnancy has been pretty easy on me, but my back and feet are starting to kill on days I have to work and YES I KNOW it will only get worse! lol Sawyer's kicks are getting nice and strong and he wiggles my belly with his kicks. He's getting big and strong like his daddy :)

From now on I am going to try and post more often! We shall see how that works out :) 16 weeks 4 days and counting...



12 Weeks!

Well if you do not already know by now, Shane and I are expecting our first baby on Aug 20, 2012! I was worried about forgetting all the important dates and feelings in the next couple months, so I decided this would be a good time to start a blog! So we will be able to look back and remember the excitement of our first child! :) This will also let our family and friends know exactly what is going on in our lives since we sometimes forget to keep in touch with our busy lives.

I turned 23 yesterday and today was the first time we got to hear baby's heart beat and it was absolutely amazing! Best birthday present ever! Words can hardly begin to describe the absolute awe we felt at hearing our baby's heart beating for the first time!!! Most exciting day of our lives to date! Next check up is March 6 and we will get to hear the heart beat again. THEN APRIL 5th is our ultrasound! It will be a loooooong 2 month wait!

I am going to try to encourage Shane to post on here once in awhile but no one hold their breath while waiting! It probably will not happen! Hehe

The doctor said I've gained 4 lbs and I can feel every pound of it! My jeans are squeezing my poor baby! I need to invest in more stretchy pants!
